It is made from a selection of the region's grapes using reasoned agriculture methods with low yield vines producing on average 30hl/ha with plot monitoring. It is made from Grenache Noir, Syrah and Carignan grapes part of which are vinified using carbonic maceration.

 

Chateau de Pena
AOC Muscat de Rivesaltes
Naturally Sweet Wine 2002 and 2003

These plots of land are planted with small grain Muscat and Muscat from Alexandria. The vineyard is located on the upper slopes which are subject to drought and heat resulting in fruit that is golden, healthy and has a high sugar content. The grapes are hand-picked in the morning to preserve all the flavor. The beautiful golden color and bouquet hinting of honey and candied fruit are the trademarks of this warm and deliciously scented wine.
It is ideal for cocktails, well liked by women and goes well with fois gras and desserts.
