Background
A partnership of three wine cellars located in the Saint Chinian appellation, each with a different soil and purpose.
Quarante is a picturesque town of 1,500 people located 35km west of Beziers whose origin dates back to 3,000B.C. There are many prehistoric and Roman sites and it has a very rich historical background. Proof of this are the 1000 yr old Languedoc Roman abbey, an archeological museum and the feudal ruins of Fort Vieux from the 12th century. The Canal du Midi which was built in the 17th century runs alongside the community of Quarante.
Creissan is a small town of 900 people 7km away from Quarante. It has been able to orient its winemakers towards producing organic wine.

Mons la Trivalle is a small community in the center of the Haut Languedoc regional park. It's located at the foot of Caroux mountain at the entrance to Heric Gorge. It's a touristic village famous for its exceptional location, hiking (GR7), spelunking and rock climbing. It's fairly eccentric compared to the other two communities and is of interest for its unique soil and wines with character.
