Soil
It is made up of terraces and gravelly calcareous-clay slopes. The vineyard
is planted around the ruins of the Cathar castle La Bouiche and dominates the tiny village of Montseret located in the center of the prestigious region of Boutenac.
The vineyard yields between 35 and 50hl/ha.
It benefits from a western exposure which is where the dominant Cers wind comes from, making it a very windy and dry region. The vineyard remains very healthy due to its isolation in the middle of the garrigue and its exposure to the wind and therefore does not require much treatment against cryptogamic diseases.
This explains its environmental protection approach which has been applied by diligently using Reasoned Agriculture methods and tracking all actions taken.
