Background

The Calce wine cellar is one of the smallest wine cellars in the Roussillon region. Almost all of the village's winemakers belong to it.

In 1990, all of the wine cellar's winemakers agreed to buy Chateau Las Fonts through the wine cellar which is located in the community of Calce and therefore in the same appellation.

Its very old buildings include an 11th century chapel and dependencies that need to be restored, as well as a big cellar in good condition which is where the grapes from this winery's vineyard are vinified.
